Alright, Rabas in Montreal! Can you even believe it’s been a whole three years since we first brought the heat of Brazilian Funk to this amazing city?! It feels like just yesterday we were taking those first steps, building this incredible crew who aren’t just students, but our extended family!

From day one back in 2022, it was all about creating a space where everyone felt welcome, no matter their background or how many left feet they thought they had! We launched our own unique class style, focusing on the joy of movement and the infectious energy of Brazilian pop music. And you guys came through, bringing the energy and creating the dynamic, welcoming community that exists today in Montreal. We even started wearing some awesome merch clothes to show off our Raba pride!

Then 2023 hit, and things got even more exciting! We finally opened the doors to our own studio, a real home where we could put up the music and really let loose! We expanded our classes, bringing in even more styles and instructors to keep the energy high. And who could forget ‘Baile da Raba’?! Also we had ‘Halloween da Raba’ and a New Year’s party, those massive parties became legendary and each time Raba is working hard to keep making them for you! A true celebration of our culture, our music, and our incredible community spirit right here in Montreal. More of you joined the Raba movement, and we kept the good times (and the cool merch) rolling!

But we weren’t completely satisfied just staying in Montreal! 2024 saw us spreading the Rabaterapia love across Canada and even overseas! We packed our bags and took our workshops to Toronto, Quebec City, and beyond, connecting with dancers who were craving that unique Raba energy. We also started going deeper into the online world, dreaming big about making Rabaterapia accessible to everyone, no matter where they were. We even started putting in the work to build our very own digital platform, we are talking about a passion project fueled by the incredible support of our Montreal family! And besides all that, Raba also opened an official Youtube channel which one video got more than 400 thousand views, can you believe that?! It would have not been possible without the Raba’s support and love! ❤️

And now, buckle up, because 2025 is a game-changer! Rabaterapia has officially gone global with the launch of our live and on-demand online classes! It’s still kind of surreal to think about how we started with a vision in Montreal and now we’re connecting with dancers all over the world. Plus, we’re not stopping there – we’re developing educational programs and certifications to share our knowledge and passion even further. But through all this growth, the heart of Rabaterapia remains right here in Montreal, beating strong thanks to each and every one of you. And honestly, the fact that you guys, our amazing students, have come together to throw us this epic 3-year anniversary party? That’s the ultimate testament to the incredible family we’ve built. We are beyond grateful for every single one of you. Here’s to many, many more years of unforgettable dances, unbreakable bonds, and spreading the Rabaterapia joy from Montreal to the world! Get ready to celebrate, this one’s for you! 🎉
