At Rabaterapia, a Brazilian dance studio located in the heart of Montreal, we understand these challenges and offer a unique solution: dance. Events that Bring People Together

Under the Sea 2022: In September, we organized a Brazilian-themed costume party that was a massive hit, welcoming between 500 to 600 people. The event was a colorful, energetic celebration where attendees could dance, socialize, and feel part of a larger community.

Halloween 2023: On November 2nd, we hosted a Halloween party that featured incredible costumes and lively music. It was a night of fun and connection, perfect for newcomers looking to meet people and enjoy a traditional North American holiday with a Brazilian twist.

Monthly Book Club: A Free Social Gathering

Beyond dance, Rabaterapia offers a free monthly book club once a month, on Fridays at 6pm. This club is open to everyone, regardless of whether they are enrolled in a dance class. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where participants can enjoy discussions about selected books, share their thoughts, and connect with others over a shared love of reading. The book club is another way we help immigrants build a support network and feel more at home in Montreal.
